I was talking to a fellow yesterday about the best time to fish. Of course it was a tide thing as always with inshore fishing but you know that old rule always applies. You fish when you have time. It might not be the best tide or the greatest conditions but don't let those things you can't control keep you off the water. Certainly stay safe from bad weather but otherwise head on out. Each trip is a chance for new discovery, some stuff you never saw before. Even if fishing is not planned there is normally an Emmrod bag in the truck ready to go. You never know when an aquatic research oppourtunity will come up. Like with Boy Scouts always be prepared. I just wish I could get away with having my Wavewalk W500 stashed in the truck all the time.
