Even the cats are looking for warm weather

So here we are in Florida still freezing our rears off.  Kayak fishing is almost zero and all the new fishing rods from Christmas are going unused.  It's so awful that the cats just sit there staring off to the horizon looking for some sign of warmth to come

I love cool fishing gear and am a life long gear geek.  This little beauty is a TMT Tactical Wallet from Toner Machining Technologies.  The website site has loads of information and the product is ideal for the kayak angler.  It will be standard gear for me since it floats and will keep my stuff dry.  Lots of other features too.

Visitor to Gander Mountain on Saturday

We did another Gander Mountain Emmrod demo event yesterday.  We had a visitor to our booth area.  Hmmm hope everyone recognises him.  He loved the our fishing rods.  

CQC Emmrod bait caster

A new design of fishing rod from Emmrod and the "Skunk Works" here in Palatka.  This little combat special is a short 7 coil Universal rod with the new .50 caliber tip.  Great for had to hand combat fishing and able to handle a big fish a close range.  It's the rod for a person who is good with a baitcaster and looking for something new and fun to fish with. As a kayak fishing rod it is ideal.
