This is the new Universal Rod from Emmrod. It's mounted on the Packer handle and sporting a Qualia DM 40 reel. This is a massive reel and combined with a fishing rod like this it's a big fish handler supreme. Out of my fishing kayak the W500 from Wavewalk it can handle anything I might want to do battle with. I'll be spooling it with 16lb Momoi for casting distance, using topwater lures it should be a blast. One interesting feature of the reel is the retreval speed. The spool is so large it rivals some midrange bait cast reels. More pictures to come of the new rigs as we set them up.
