Got the fishing kayak out on the water again today. Nothing in the paddle craft world handles as well for anglers as the W500 from Wavewalk. Whenever I see anglers contort themselves for a decent cast or struggle to see ahead it's hard not to feel sorry for them stuck in their sit on top kayaks. With the Emmrods on board the angler is set for anything they may attempt to catch. After spending so much time using my little fishing rods it's hard to consider dealing with a regular fishing pole. Emmrod's new spinning reel worked great and for the price it's steal at $29.95. Of course I also had a Mul 10 Qualia spincst reel along on a Packer, as always it handled the fish just fine. This MuL 10 is the original one we started testing almost 2 years ago and it still works just fine. Saltwater or fresh it's one heck of a piece of gear.
