Two great knots

No matter kayak, boat, canoe, bank, or whatever method you use to get near the fish good knots are a must.  These two are the ones we use for all of our fishing.  The canoeman's loop and the 4 turn surgeons knots.  The loop allows the leader to be connected to the lure in a fashion that allows more movement.  Also it ties with only a few inches of line needing less of the leader each time you retie.  The surgeons knot we use is strong and easy to tie with mono or superlines.  Both are shown on my site and show how they should be tied.  Performance with the Emmrods is as good as it gets.  They catch the fish and hold on for the landing.  Give them a try.
