Here is a classic old reel. It's an ABU 5000 from the 70's . I've owed it since it was new and just kept it up. Great for topwater fishing since it's the old 3.5 to 1 ratio, strong but slow. No ball bearings at all just bronze bushings and it casts like a dream. The reel will be teamed with an Emmrod Packer and a seven coil tip. It's going to Lake of the Woods.
