We fished a couple of hours yesterday after we arrived. Getting into the rhythm of the lake each year is important. Lake of the Woods has huge amounts of habitat scattered around thousands of islands. We found fish quickly so hopefully the trip goes well. Here is a walleye from last evening. My Emmrod rigs performed as always. The one in the shot is a Packrod with a Shimano Curado 300E running 40lb Sufix 832 to a 20lb fluorocarbon leader. The bait, as always, a Slayer jig spinner and Zman tail.
